Payment

You will receive an automatically generated order confirmation after you have approved the order. We reserve the right to make typographical and technical errors. If we are unable to fulfil your order due to sold-out items or similar, you will hear from us within 2 business days.

When purchasing on our website, it is only possible to pay by electronic means of payment - i.e. credit card or Dankort. If you pay by credit card, you are always protected against fraud. You have the option to decline a payment when you receive your payment summary. You have no excess in the event that your card is misused in a webshop that uses SSL (Secure Socket Layer). The data you send in connection with purchases paid for with a payment card is encrypted, so only the acquirer (NETS) can read it. Neither Museum for Papirkunst nor anyone else can read the card details.

The amount for the goods is only debited when the goods are dispatched from Museum for Papirkunst. You can never be charged more than the amount you have authorised at the time of purchase.

Right of cancellation and right of complaint

Is there something wrong with the product

According to the Danish Sale of Goods Act, all goods are covered by a 24-month right of complaint. The right of complaint means that you as a customer can complain about faults and defects in the product that have arisen 24 months after the purchase. However, it is a prerequisite that these defects have not arisen as a result of your incorrect use of the product or other damaging behaviour that has caused the defect. You must complain within a reasonable time after you have discovered the defect. If you complain within 2 months, the complaint is always considered timely. We will reimburse reasonable shipping costs that you may incur in connection with the return of the item when the complaint is justified. As a starting point, the item will be exchanged if possible.

If you have cancelled your purchase

If you have purchased an item via the www.paperartshop.dk webshop, you have the right to cancel the purchase within 14 days of receiving the item. You then have 14 days to return the item to us at the address provided.

Return the item

You can return the item to us by refusing to accept the item when it is delivered, or you can send it back to Museum for Papirkunst. You can also use our cancellation form. The item must always be returned in proper packaging. Remember to get a dispatch receipt so that the parcel can be tracked later. You must enclose a copy of the order confirmation.

You can also return the item in person at our address.

The return address is:
Museum for Papirkunst
Ilsigvej 2, Hune DK-9492 Blokhus

You must pay for the shipping costs when you return the item in connection with a cancellation of purchase. Museum for Papirkunst does not accept parcels sent cash on delivery.

The condition of the item in case of cancellation

If the item is returned and the right of cancellation is exercised, this can be done when the item is returned in substantially the same condition and quantity as when you received it. The right of cancellation lapses if you test the product beyond what is possible by testing the product in a physical store. You are only liable for any deterioration in the value of the goods due to handling other than what is necessary to determine the nature, characteristics and functioning of the goods. If the product has been tested beyond what is described above, we consider it as used, which means that in the event of cancellation of the purchase, you will only receive a part or none of the purchase amount, depending on the commercial value of the product. Any depreciation in value will of course not be returned.

Refunds

When you cancel the purchase, the purchase price including delivery costs (but not additional costs resulting from your own choice of a delivery method other than the cheapest standard delivery method offered by us) will be refunded to the payment card used to place the order. The amount will be transferred as soon as possible and no later than 14 days from the date on which we have received notification of your decision to cancel this agreement. You will always receive an email when we have received the goods. In the email, you will receive information about the further process of handling your cancellation.

Please note: the right of cancellation does not apply to custom-made products.
